The Company with Leading Engineering ExpertiseValley Crates and Engineering is a Dunedin-based engineering company. At the beginning of 2014 it moved into a new, fully-equipped 1600 sqm workshop at 343 Kaikorai Valley Rd, Dunedin. Previously the company was located in Green Island. The company is owned by Morgan Campbell who bought it in 2010. Our staff have a wide range of skills in all aspects of engineering trades and the majority hold current AS/NZS2980 tickets for all weld positions. Valley Crates also operates a fully equipped mobile workshop (site truck) which is used when projects require us to work at a client’s premises or at their worksite.

Valley Crates and Engineering takes an unusually proactive view of health and safety issues. We are constantly striving for a safer workplace for ourselves and to make a positive impact on our clients’ sites.
By operating within the standards set down by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (formerly the Department of Labour), we have become eligible for full membership of Hazardco NZ. In addition to complying with the requirements of the Department of Labour Health and Safety Act 1992, we have Approved Contractor status with:

At Valley Crates we take the health and safety of our staff extremely seriously and work hard to ensure all reasonable steps are taken to prevent problems before they occur. We also believe strongly in protecting the environment and all of our clients’ property that is entrusted to our care.
